“Dance music is supposed to be about fun,” 23-year-old Mall Grab told Mixmag in 2016. And that it was. Kicking off the festival with an absolute killer of a set on our beloved Lost Disco stage, Mall Grab started the party right on our opening night. There was not a body in sight that wasn’t dancing along, including Mall Grab himself, whose love for music is so infectious we didn’t care about being a hot-sweaty-mess and dancing freely alongside him. The gift that kept on giving, Mall Grab brought his tunes & dance moves to the Paradise Club stage the next night too, for an equally bangin’ set. We see what all the fuss is about now.
So. Damn. Good.
SAMPA THE GREAT

Charismatic as she is talented, Sampa the Great (an extremely apt stage name for this gal) proved yet again why she is the queen of live-performances, captivating the Arcadia crowd with every thought-provoking verse. She delivered a show that was equally rhythmic as it was purposeful, revellers screaming out their “I Love You’s” from the front barrier and her responding with creativity, humour and genuine appreciation for each and every Paradisian who came to join in the good vibes. We’re so happy we were able to share in this special performance.

Aussies have well and truly adopted Londoner William Phillips aka Tourist as one of our own and his show at Lost Paradise 2017 made it easy to see why. Tourist played Lost Paradise a couple years ago and it’s been incredible to see how his following and his talents have grown. Playing crowd favourites from his debut album ‘U’ as well as some oldies-but-goodies from past EP’s, he pulled one of the biggest crowds our Arcadia Stage has seen and got us all dancing and sweating along with him to his ‘sad dance music’. As the main man keeps comin’ back to our sunkissed shores, it’s safe to say we think he loves us too.

Find someone who loves you as much as Bodzin loves making music. After the show this german god put on at our Lost Disco stage, we’ve well and truly been converted into Bodzinians (yeah, we just coined that). His on-stage energy was above and beyond, fully immersed in the music he was creating on stage. To witness it from on our triangular dance oasis in the middle of the Glenworth Valley was an experience that can’t be matched anywhere else on the globe.

A man of many, many talents FKJ aka French Kiwi Juice brought his soulful goodness to Lost Paradise 2017. Who needs band-members when you can play all the instruments yourself? The crowd continued to grow throughout this special set, as walkers-by couldn’t help but stop and groove along. By the end, FKJ was looping the crowd singing along into his live jam session and we just didn’t want it to end!

Not much needs to be said about Aussie babe Meg Mac’s performance. Plain and simply this girl knows what she’s doin. Holding the crowd in the palm of her hand, Paradisians were singing along, there was electricity in the Glenworth Valley air, our brand new Arcadia Stage was looking the goods’ and when she sang her famous line ‘Everything Is Going To Be Alright’ we were right there shouting it aloud with her, ready to take on 2018 – the perfect sentiment to begin a new year on.

Our favourite Aussie guys did us proud on the 29th, setting the tone for the energy and good vibes that carried through the rest of the festival. With Lost Paradise being RÜFÜS’ only Australian performance in 2017 – we are so pleased the crowd were lovin’ it as much as we were. The totem sticks were flying high at the Arcadia Stage, everyone was singing at the top of their lungs & our personal favourite track ‘Innerbloom’ had Paradisians going mental – can we travel back to this moment please?

Little Dragon front-woman Yukimi pulled off their entire INCREDIBLE show on our Arcadia stage draped in fluro green net, and did so like the absolute queen she is. The Swede synth-pop band provided us with a stunning world-class performance, one which will no doubt go down as legendary in the Lost Paradise history books.

Closing our Arcadia Stage in style – we expected nothing less from loveable legends, Client Liaison. Confetti covered the crowd as the New Years countdown struck 12:00 and CL brought in 2018 with major feel-good tune “World Of Our Love”. Everywhere we looked we saw a sea of smiley, glittery, faces. We can’t think of a better way to bring in the New Year!

QUOTES & REVIEWS
“Lost Paradise was like a big backyard party that just spiralled out of control; in the best way possible. A beautiful setting, a lovely cool river to swim in (or to hold an unofficial mini rave, as the case turned out), an entire corner of the grounds devoted to yoga and meditation and relaxation, and barely a bright neon flashing alcohol sponsorship logo to be seen, it carried the casual and laidback vibe of a much smaller festival — while still attracting some of the country’s most exciting and beloved live acts.”
– HUFFINGTON POST
“Lost Paradise is an experience that extends far beyond anything that could be promoted, advertised, or even expected. Quirky, eccentric, and so utterly unique, the adventure Losties holds for one is no same adventure for another. The festival itself is split into various sections that altogether provide an immersive experience for individual, couple and even family. Not only does the festival offer a chance to see internationally loved artists along with Aussie grown favourites, but includes mind, body and soul activities for the enjoyment and healing of all attendees; young and old.”
– AUS MUSIC SCENE
“Lost Paradise is the nuanced, well-rounded, quiet achiever of Aussie festivals; big enough to deliver on the great acts, but small enough to still have an air of intimacy about it.”
– MTV TRAVEL
“Fancy welcoming in New Year amongst a bunch of friendly, live music and yoga loving revellers? Then Lost Paradise is for you. Over three days an 8000-strong crowd of families, wellness warriors, nature-lovers and hipsters descend on NSW’s picturesque Glenworth Valley to experience a festival like no other.”
“This is Lost Paradise’s third year and while that’s quite young in festival years, they keep proving they mean business. Their ethos extends past music too and the festival — held in Glenworth Valley (just an hour north of Sydney) — is built around a mix of art, yoga, performance and food. Because there’s nothing like a little yoga to dust off a festival hangover.”
– CONCRETE PLAYGROUND
“There are music festivals, then there is the mind-body-soul experience that is Lost Paradise.”
– TIME OUT
“If you’re the adventurous type, being amongst the spectacular Glenworth Valley is heaven! Have a kayak… experience the spiritual realm in the Shambala tent. Throughout the festival there is always something great going on…”
“Lost Paradise changed my life. I continually chase the feeling of community and friendliness it gives me. All my friends are sick of hearing me talk about it.”
– JACK MORRISON, LOST PARADISE TRIBE
“You’ve already made Lost Paradise great! I will be spending every New Years there, thanks the fantastic memories and a wonderful start to the new year.”
– OLIVIA BOOTH, LOST PARADISE TRIBE

“Bars tucked away in the forest, spa treatments, and 7,000 beautiful humans partying to the world’s best musicians: Welcome to Lost Paradise, Australia’s answer to Coachella.”
“Lost Paradise is committed to giving punters a distinctly boutique experience, with an attendance of 8,000 punters, all getting lost in live music from some of the world’s most original musicians, food curated by Sydney’s top chefs, and more.”
“All the elements are spot on – location, audience, line-up and weather. Wonderful memories of an inspirational festival.”
– GREG WILSON
“I remember the first time I played this festival I went for a walk around and thought, ‘this is the kind of festival that if I wasn’t working at I’d go to’. Last year after I played I walked around out the front to see Motor City Drum Ensemble and my feelings were the same – I’d happily do it again…”
– TOUCH SENSITIVE
“Lost Paradise has been and will always be such a special festival experience for me. I’ve never felt such a tight community vibe like that from a festival before. From the punters, the music and the staff, everything was beyond expectation. I’ll definitely be back as a punter as soon as I can.”
– YOUNG FRANCO
“One of the most magical spots we’ve ever played in Oz and a night complimented by generous staff and hospitality that really looked after us. A show we’ll never forget”
